I Got Inked!

He has always been my guiding lights since back then and hearing those words came from him just made my tendency of getting a tattoo even broader. And so I did.

It took me a long time to find the perfect words to get tattooed, but I've finally found it. It says;

"I've loved the stars too fondly

to be fearful of the night"

I got it from one of the poems of Sarah Williams. It basically means that she is afraid of the darkness of night, but as she fondly gazed upon the universe including the stars in the night sky, she eventually determined the dark night to be negligible.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't get a tattoo in order to look cool. No. It's just so wrong to say that. I got it because I need a reminder for myself. Something to remind me that if you truly love something true enough, nothing can keep you from it and you'll be able to overcome your fears in order to achieve whatever it is, which is exactly what the quote says. That your love for whatever it is you want to do in life will not be over powered by the fear of the unknown. And I really need something like this, something that tells me to shoot for my dreams and don't worry about things that could go awry. Your love for what you want is stronger than your fear of failing. 

So if you love something or someone, go for it.

Does it hurt?

It does. But it doesn't hurt as bad as I thought it would be. Hearing the machine made my want to back away but as soon as the needle goes into your skin, that's it. You'll know the feeling of the pain. Believe it or not, and not to sound conceited, I wasn't in pain.. I was just laughing by the joke the tattoo artist made. And I was just being quiet because I was bored, lol. 

Why did you get it in the inner bicep?

Well to be honest I don't really want my tattoo to be exposed. I just need it to be visible for me and easy to read every single day for me to be reminded. It looks nice there, though. 

Achromatic Monday

Whoops. It's tuesday already but lets just consider this as still monday will you. I was supposed to post it this afternoon but I had to run some errands so yeah, here you go..

It's Monday! And I'm feeling the cozy vibe since I have no class on mondays. 

White outfits have been the weakness of mine; fresh, clean-cut, pristine and elegant. So I compiled all these pieces that I would totally wear today. The simple Cheap Monday Morgan Tank paired with D.EFECT Dennis Spring Grey Trousers are a perfect combination. Also with my current obsession Zara Ankle Straps Heels which completes it altogether. 

Not to forget to mention the earrings by Dannijo. I've been obsessing around their Summer Spring 2013 collection. It's vibrant and rich colors that caught my eyes. Click here to see the collection. Totally worth the look!

What You Wear: That Seams Lovely

It's monday! Which means a lucky day for someone who has successfully astound me with their looks. Throughout all the emails, I caught this one girl that whose blog I adore.
And she's Beka Nicole! The girl behind That Seams Lovely.

I enjoy how she pulls off every pieces she wears and how she sometimes dresses femininely and sometimes put a little bit of edgy touch on her outfit. I guess it's obvious why I chose her. I love it when people don't really dress in one particular way. Someone who would just throw on any clothes in the morning and look good throughout the day as long as they feel fashionable at the same time comfortable.
